To inspire, equip, and connect educators across Africa and beyond, the Africa Educational Management and Leadership Forum (AEF) is set to hold a free one-day virtual discussion to push conversations that address the realities of today’s classrooms.

The summit, themed: ‘Teaching in a changing world: Innovation, wellbeing and impact,’ and scheduled for October 11, is aimed at equipping teachers with the necessary tools needed to thrive in the 21st century.

It will also spotlight issues that matter most to teachers, harnessing innovation for real learning, protecting their well-being, and ensuring measurable impact in schools.

Founded in 2020 at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, the AEF began as an urgent response to a global crisis. With schools shutting down and millions of learners at home, many teachers were ill-prepared for online teaching.

AEF was born as a lifeline to arm educators with knowledge, digital strategies, and confidence to sustain learning despite the pandemic. According to the organisers, the summit will feature renowned speakers and practitioners, whose voices bring both inspiration and practical strategies for educators.
