The Regalo Hope Foundation (RHF), a Pan-Nigeria Non-Profit Organisation says that the EduStake Conference 2026 would focus on evaluating the progress of inclusive education in Nigeria, building on its 2024 review.

Miss Abiodun Ooreoluwa, Partnership and Communications Manager of RHF, disclosed to the media in an interview on Tuesday in Lagos.

She said that the conference discussions would be a follow up on the 2024 EduStake Conference.

Ooreoluwa added that the event, scheduled for Jan. 22 at the Lagos Theatre, Igando, would highlight areas still requiring attention across Nigeria’s classrooms and learning environments.

“The idea is to create an enabling environment for education stakeholders to critically assess the implementation of inclusive education policies nationwide and explore the next steps for further advancement,” she said.

The conference, she noted, would also mark the graduation of educators who had completed the first cohort of the Teachers’ Leadership Academy (TLA) programme.

She described the TLA as, “a defining professional milestone for participants”, adding that the programme functioned as a professional platform supporting growth, collaboration and reflection.

The RHF manager noted that facilitators empowered educators to “learn more, interact, and improve within evolving classrooms and leadership contexts.”

She disclosed that the conference would feature the RHF Legends’ Award, honouring an educator with over 25 years of classroom service.

She added that, “It’s a celebration of enduring commitment to education nationally.

“The RHF Heroes’ Award will also be presented to three TLA Associates with over five years’ experience, recognised for work that demonstrates measurable educational and community impact nationally.”

“Students participation will include a secondary schools quiz competition on current affairs, aimed at promoting national values, stimulating civic awareness, and fostering informed thinking.

“The competitive activity offers cash rewards for top-performing schools, reinforcing motivation,” Ooreoluwa said.

She said that the event would also feature entertainment including dance, drama and motivational talks.

The RHF Partnership and Communications Manager disclosed that over 30 secondary public and private schools had so far registered and confirmed participation for the 2026 edition of the annual conference.
