The Nigeria Maritime University has appointed Paul Bebenimibo, Abduldayan Fatimah Jibril, and Gbe Tamaraudebaemi Justin as Registrar, Librarian, and Bursar, respectively.
The Nigeria Maritime University (NMU), Okerenkoko, has announced the appointment of three new principal officers following an emergency meeting of its Governing Council.
At the 21st meeting of the Council held on 15 April 2025, Paul Bebenimibo was confirmed as the new Registrar of the university. Abduldayan Fatimah Jibril was appointed University Librarian, while Gbe Tamaraudebaemi Justin was named the new Bursar.
In a statement from the Chairman/Pro-Chancellor of the Governing Council, Abdullahi Bardi, the three individuals were selected as the top candidates after a thorough interview process conducted by an eight-member selection committee. The appointments were made by the university’s established regulations.
Bardi stated that the governing council is confident that these appointments will contribute significantly to the continued growth and development of the Nigeria Maritime University.
