eTranzact International Plc has partnered with the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN) to host a town hall on Financial Literacy and Inclusion for MSMEs Leveraging FinTech Innovation.

Scheduled for August 5 in Lagos, the forum will bring together entrepreneurs, policymakers, financial institutions and fintech experts to discuss practical ways businesses can improve financial management, embrace digital payments and access growth opportunities in an increasingly digital economy.

The initiative builds on eTranzact’s growing investment in Nigeria’s enterprise ecosystem. In 2025, the company, in partnership with the Enterprise Development Centre of Pan Atlantic University, unveiled the AI Readiness Report for Nigerian SMEs, providing valuable insights into how small businesses can prepare for and benefit from emerging technologies. Through Credo, its digital business solution, eTranzact also continues to help MSMEs simplify collections, manage payments and improve business operations.

Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of eTranzact International Plc, Niyi Toluwalope, said the Town Hall reflects the company’s vision of enabling financial freedom through innovative technology and exceptional people, adding that empowering businesses goes beyond providing payment infrastructure.

“At eTranzact, we believe that when businesses have the right knowledge, the right technology and access to the right financial tools, they are better positioned to grow and create lasting economic value. This Town Hall is another step in our journey of helping Nigerian MSMEs succeed. Through solutions like Credo and strategic collaborations such as this, we are giving entrepreneurs practical tools that simplify payments, strengthen financial management and open new opportunities for growth in today’s digital economy,” Toluwalope said.

Director General/ CEO Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), Charles Odii, said the partnership offers another opportunity to equip Nigerian entrepreneurs with practical knowledge, stronger financial capability and better access to digital solutions that will support sustainable business growth.

The Town Hall will feature expert sessions, interactive discussions and live demonstrations of digital business solutions. Participation is open to MSMEs, business associations, financial institutions, fintech companies and other stakeholders across Nigeria’s enterprise ecosystem.
