Requirements for AgricTech Undergraduate Scholarship

Applicants must:

Be enrolled in a recognized Nigerian University, Polytechnic, or College of education.

Be in 2nd year or above of an undergraduate program in Agriculture, Agricultural Technology, or related disciplines.

CGPA Requirements

1st Class / Distinction - Priority consideration for full awards.

2nd Class Upper/Upper Credit - Consideration with other strong factors (video, passion, experience, etc.).

Transcript Requirements

Submit an official or student copy of your academic transcript or statement of results.

Transcript must cover at least your most recent academic session (e.g., 100 or 200 level, depending on your current level).

Transcripts must be signed or stamped by the institution's registry or department.

Submit a 2-minute video explaining why you are passionate about agriculture or agricultural technology.

Submit a CV/Resume highlighting academic background, relevant experience, and extracurricular activities.

Upload a completed online agriculture-related course certificate from FAO eLearning Academy (https://elearning.fao.org/). 

Selection Process

Clarity and authenticity of the video submission.

Academic performance and demonstrated commitment to agriculture.

Relevance of completed online course to agriculture and agric innovation.

Leadership potential and community involvement.

Scholarship Application Timeline

Application Opens: Nov 2025

Application Deadline: Dec 2025 (May close earlier if application target is reached OR extended if target not reached)

Review Period: 2 weeks after final application deadline

Winner Announced: 1 week after review is completed
