The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) has been recognized as the 2024 best performing parastatal in Team C by the SERVICOM Office.

Team C encompasses the Federal Ministry of Education and all its affiliated departments and agencies.

The award, presented during the SERVICOM’s Ministry Departments and Agencies (MDAs) annual awards ceremony in Abuja on Tuesday 17th December 2024, celebrated the Fund’s commitment to excellence in service delivery.

Presenting the award, the National Coordinator and Chief Executive Officer of SERVICOM, Nnenna Akajemeli, emphasized the sustained efforts of TETFund’s SERVICOM Unit in ensuring exceptional customer service.

She noted that the recognition reflects the agency’s commitment, under the leadership of Arc. Sonny S T. Echono, to massively improve service delivery.

Akajemeli, who urged the agency to continue prioritizing high-quality services, which she described as central to the essence of governance, presented a letter of commendation to Echono.

It reads: “I write on behalf of Management and the entire staff of SERVICOM Office Presidency to commend your unwavering interest and commitment to improved customer-focused service delivery in the Tertiary Education Fund (TETFund).

” We are indeed encouraged by your inspiring strive in ensuring that Nigerians receive quality and timely service from the Nigerian State.

“We shall continue to count on your support and cooperation as a key stakeholder in the provision of satisfactory services to all citizens in the realisation of the essence of Governance.

“Once again, I thank you and assure you of my highest esteem and regards.”

Echono was also presented with “an award in recognition of support and commitment to citizen-centred service delivery,” even as TETFund received a special recognition award from the SERVICOM’s National Coordinator.

Meanwhile, TETFund’s Nodal Officer and head of its SERVICOM Unit, Mrs. Ebere Nwobu, was awarded the 2024 second-best performing Nodal Officer for public service units in Team C.

Akajemeli lauded Nwobu for demonstrating “enthusiasm and commitment to service improvement and dedication to customer satisfaction in the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund).”

Expressing delight over the award, Nwobu assured of her unwavering commitment and dedication to continuous improvement in service delivery in TETFund.
