The North-West Development Commission (NWDC) established by the NWDC Act, 2024 signed into law by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is committed to driving development, growth, and infrastructure enhancement in the North-West region. To further this mission, the commission is pleased to announce the opening of applications for the NWDC 2025 Undergraduate & Postgraduate Foreign Scholarship Programme. 

 

Requirements for NWDC Undergraduate & Postgraduate Scholarship

To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must the following requirements:

Indigene: Be an indigene of the North-west States (Jigawa, Kaduna, Kano, Katsina, Kebbi, Sokoto and Zamfara)

Undergraduate: Distinction in 3 O’Level core science subjects and 5 credits in other subjects in no more than 2 sittings.

Masters: CGPA of 3.8 and above

PhD: CGPA of 4.0/5.0 in MSc

Age Limit: 22 years and below for undergraduates, 35 years and below for Master’s and 40 years and below for PhD at the time of application.
