The National Examinations Council (NECO) has indefinitely postponed the ongoing examinations. The exam body's Head of Information and Public Relations Division, Azeez Sani disclosed this on Sunday in a statement.
According to the statement, the postponement was as a result of the present nationwide security challenges, precipitated by #EndSARS protest.
"While regretting any inconveniences this postponement may cause our esteemed stakeholders, the Council has however taken this decision in order to maintain the integrity and security of its examination procedures for seamless conduct of the Council’s examination", the statement read.
