The Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) has began a five-day capacity building training for teachers in oil and gas host communities, focusing on STEM education. Mode Four Solutions is executing the training on behalf of NCDMB.

This initiative aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of teachers in STEM fields, ultimately improving the quality of education in host communities.

The training is part of NCDMB’s efforts to develop indigenous capacities and capabilities for the industry. By equipping teachers with the necessary skills and knowledge, NCDMB hopes to improve student outcomes and prepare them for the demands of the oil and gas industry.

The training will cover various topics, including hands-on activities and collaborative planning sessions, to encourage active participation and engagement from educators.

The NCDMB has previously conducted similar training programs for teachers, highlighting the importance of STEM education in driving innovation and economic growth. The board’s efforts to promote STEM education align with its mandate to develop local capacity and capabilities for the industry.
