Kwara Partners Digital Equity Africa To Launch Future Minds AI Bootcamp

 

Innovation Hub has unveiled Future Minds AI Learning bootcamp, Independence Edition taking place in Ilorin, Kwara State, effective October 1, 2025. 

The four-day program will be hosted in the Kwara State Innovation Hub. 

A statement by the company indicated that the initiative underscored Kwara State’s commitment to digital literacy and youth empowerment, with the Ilorin Innovation Hub serving as a major host for digital skills programs in the state. 

The Hub, under the leadership of Temi Kolawole, Director of the Ilorin Innovation Hub, has been at the forefront of nurturing innovation and driving the state’s digital transformation agenda. 

Designed by Digital Equity Africa for children and teenagers aged 6–17, the bootcamp will provide an exciting hands-on introduction to Artificial Intelligence, emerging technologies, and digital literacy skills that will prepare the next generation for the future of work and innovation. 

“This Independence Edition is not only about celebrating Nigeria’s progress, but also about empowering our young people with the tools, confidence, and knowledge to shape the future,” said Justina Nnam Oha, CEO of Digital Equity Africa and Founder of Future Minds AI. 

Speaking on the significance of the partnership, Temi Kolawole, Director of the Ilorin Innovation Hub, stated: “At Ilorin Innovation Hub, we believe digital literacy is a cornerstone for economic growth and social inclusion. 

Hosting the Future Minds AI Bootcamp aligns perfectly with our mission to make Kwara State a leader in digital innovation. By equipping our young people with AI and future-ready skills, we are laying the foundation for a thriving digital economy.” 

The curriculum, developed in collaboration with UNESCO, combines practical workshops, interactive projects, and mentorship sessions, helping participants explore how AI can be applied to real-world problems in health, education, agriculture, and beyond. 

Themed ‘Future Minds AI Learning Bootcamp – Independence Edition,’ would hold October 1-5, 2025, at Kwara State Innovation Hub, Ilorin, Kwara State. 

Partners of the event includes Kwara State Government, Kwara State Innovation Hub, UNESCO and Digital Equity Africa. 

Future Minds AI is a pan-African initiative by Digital Equity Africa that equips children and youth with AI literacy and digital skills. 

Through camps, workshops, and community programs, Future Minds AI is building a new generation of innovators prepared to thrive in the digital economy.
