The Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Education, Arc. Sonny Echono, has on Friday expressed satisfaction with the clean record on COVID-19 maintained so far by the Unity schools nationwide on the resumption of academic activities for exit classes, to allow them participate in the ongoing national and international examinations.
Arc Echono had expressed his satsfaction while on a visit to Unity Schools in Federal Capital Terrotory Abuja. He encouraged the principals of the the Fedral Government Unity Colleges to continue to enforce strict COVID-19 protocols in their schools of service.

“Reports reaching me from our 104 Unity Colleges in the last couple of days indicate that there has been no suspected case of COVID-19 infection in any of our Unity Colleges,” Arc. Echono stated, as reported in a release signed by Ben Bem Goong, Director Press & Public Relations, Federal Ministry of Education.
Echono further stated that the safety record on COVID-19 achieved with the exit classes currently writing their exams will determine the steps to be taken in the resumption of the rest of the classes in due time.
