Faculty Of Agriculture, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Upgrades Staff On Confidence Publishing.

The Faculty of Agriculture, Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka campus has taken a bold initiative to equip its staff with the requisite skills to master publishing with confidence.

Through the instrumentality of the dean of the faculty Prof. Cordelia Ebenebe the vision materialized.

At a one-day capacity training boot camp workshop at the Unizik Business School Awka, the faculty demonstrated its zeal to update its staff on the modern techniques in publishing.

Declaring the workshop with the theme, "Publish With Confidence and Promote With Ease’, the acting Vice Chancellor of Unizik Prof.Joseph Ikechebelu represented by the former Deputy Vice chancellor academics of Unizik Prof Frederick Odibo spoke on the imperatives of publishing with confidence and encouraged the participants of the faculty to leverage on the vision of Prof.Ebenebe to take them to the next level.

Prof.Odibo expects the participants to also translate the skills they will garner at the workshop to further their careers.

The dean of the faculty Prof.Ebenebe the host advised the participants to take advantage of the workshop to update themselves.

The dean used the forum to thank the acting Vice Chancellor for his support to the faculty and expects him as a father to sustain the support.

In a remark,the Chairman Central Planning Committee of the Faculty's Boot Camp workshop and a staff member of the department of Forestry and Wild Life,Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka campus Dr.John Ogbodo highlighted the gains in publishing with confidence and urged the participants to take advantage of the workshop to update themselves.

Dr.Ogbodo expects them to also remain committed to their duties to reach their professional zenith.

He appreciated the efforts of the dean of the faculty Prof.Ebenebe and the facilitators of the workshop who drilled the participants on the prospects inherent in publishing with confidence.

A resource person Mr.Godswill Chukwuemeka, CEO Boldscholar Resources, delivered a lecture on publishing with confidence aimed at mastering academic writing and presentation for Scopus and Clarivate.
