Dominican Varsity VC Congratulates Newly Appointed CVCNU Chairman, NUC Executive Secretary

The Vice Chancellor of Dominican University, Ibadan has extended congratulatory messages to the newly appointed Chairman of the committee of Vice-Chancellors, Prof. Andrew Haruna and the Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission, Prof, Abdullahi Yusuf Ribadu on their recent appointments.

The Vice Chancellor of Dominican University, Ibadan, Prof Jacinta Okpara, has extended congratulatory messages to the newly appointed Chairman of the committee of Vice-Chancellors, Prof. Andrew Haruna, and the Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission, Prof, Abdullahi Yusuf Ribadu on their recent appointments.

In an official letter to the new Chairman of the CVCNU, Prof Jacinta Okpara expressed confidence in the ability of Prof. Andrew Haruna to inspire transformative changes that will benefit not only the academic community but also the nation at large. 

She said, “Your appointment to this prestigious position is a testament to your exceptional leadership, profound academic contributions, and unwavering commitment to the advancement of higher education in Nigeria. Your vast experience and visionary approach will undoubtedly bring renewed vigour and strategic direction to the Committee as it continues to champion the cause of Nigerian universities.”

In similar vein, the Vice Chancellor, wrote to also felicitate with the newly appointed Executive Secretary of the NUC stating that his appointment is validation of his relentless dedication, exceptional leadership, and outstanding contributions to the advancement of higher education in Nigeria.

Prof. Jacinta Okpara remarked that the appointment of Prof. Ribadu inspires hope for innovative reforms, strategic development, and enhanced collaboration in the Nigeria’s higher education sector.

She wished both appointees a hearty congratulations while offering prayers and support towards their individual success and impactful tenures.
