Amidst the ravaging COVID-19 scourge, becoming one of the first African countries to do so as the continent keeps battling with the virus, just like the rest of the world.

The students returned to school observing strict health and safety guidelines, such as face mask covering. The school authorities expressed willingness to assist the students carry out their academic activities safely.

 

 

From the report Boldscholar obtained from UNESCO, the country has students’ population of 6,338,832, comprising 2,935,415 females and 3,403,417 males.

So far, according to the Africa Centers for Disease Control (CDC), Cote d'Ivoire has reported more than 2,300 infections and 30 deaths.

By May 25, 2020, based on the report obtained from the CDC the African continent has recorded 112,290 cases, 3,359 deaths and 44,920 recoveries.
