Irrespective of the devastating blow COVID-19 pandemic has dealt on the entire globe, which has forced everyone on a lockdown, the Academics World has refused to be compelled to suspend its conference, which was earlier scheduled to hold in Lagos Nigeria on 29th and 30th April 2020. The academic research organization has revealed on its website that it shall proceed with its earlier announced conference sessions online, using Zoom technology. The organization shall deploy Zoom technology for video conferencing to enable it effectively hold its conference without fear of COVID-19 and without disobeying the government order which has mandated everyone in Nigeria, particularly those residing in Lagos to remain indoors till Monday, 4th May 2020.
The organization, which had earlier made call for papers and scheduled its conference for 29th and 30th April 2020, has changed the date of the conference and shall now hold it online on Saturday, 2nd May 2020. A message on its website explains how the video conferencing will work.
