The Nigeria Higher Education Foundation (NHEF) is excited to announce the launch of the 2025 NHEF Scholars Program! This program is designed to empower talented Nigerian students with the skills, experiences, and networks needed to excel as leaders and professionals.

The NHEF Scholars Program identifies exceptional students in their penultimate year and equips them with:

Mentorship & Networking: Connect with accomplished professionals and NHEF alumni excelling across diverse industries.

Benefits of NHEF Scholarship Program

Each Scholar goes through a weeklong orientation program that exposes them to career development training that is pivotal in facilitating an easy transition into the global workforce.

During the NHEF Scholars Program, each scholar undergoes intensive training by a thoroughly selected group of international facilitators.

The Scholars will take up internship placements at our Partner Firms, which typically last 6 – 8 weeks. They also go through a robust curriculum, ensuring continuous personal and professional development.

Requirements for NHEF Scholarship Program

To be considered for the 2025 NHEF Scholars Program, applicants must:

Be penultimate-year students enrolled at an NHEF Partner University

Be well-rounded individuals with demonstrated excellence in academics, extracurricular activities, and professional pursuits.

Exhibit a strong commitment to community service, philanthropy, and a desire to make a lasting impact in society.
